Events

Our Annual Think Pink Event kicks off the philanthropic efforts of our local Beta Sigma Phi chapter to raise awareness for breast cancer. A new theme is chosen every year for members of the community to decorate their tables, dress up in costume and celebrate our survivors for their heroic fight against this terrible disease. Our local hospital offers up a guest speaker to talk on various topics related to breast cancer awareness as part of the program by the Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce. It’s a wonderful night of laughs, music, remembrance, celebration, and being passionately pink for a wonderful cause. See our 2019 theme below! For more information, please give the Chamber of Commerce a call at (912) 384-1873.

Our Holiday Open House, orchestrated by the Downtown Merchant Association, is held on the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving. The downtown businesses offer amazing deals, debut their festive holiday window decorations and encourage local shopping for the holidays. It is a great time to support our small business owners that make our community so special!
