visit the broxton rocks

The Broxton Rocks was named one of "30 Natural Wonders in Georgia to See Before You Die" by the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Decorated with endangered species of plants and animals, this natural waterfall is a sacred and protected attraction. It was named one of "Georgia's Hidden Treasures" by WSB-TV, and it truly is a treasure we all cherish.

Visit the World War II Flight Training Museum

Years ago, hundreds of brave young men and women came to Douglas, GA to be trained in combat aviation under some of the most skilled flight instructors in the country. While WWII commenced overseas, groundbreaking discoveries and heroic soldiers were being born in this sleepy town. Little did they know, their time in Douglas led to historic triumphs to be celebrated years later.

shop local

The Historic District in Downtown Douglas offers great shopping on locally owned and operated boutiques, malls, and tiny shoppes. Take a stroll down our "main street" to see beautiful antiques, delicious food, Georgia Grown products, and more! The Shoppes at Tip Top serve as incubators for locals to explore their dream of creating their own piece of the downtown mosaic.

Dine Local
